Pastor Donald R. Hunter, Jr. was saved and filled with the Holy Spirit at the age of 19 years old.  After preaching to his childhood friends and demonstrating no fear in preaching in front of crack houses and some of the city’s most notorious drug-infested communities, he became well-known among his peers as a young man serious about the things of God.  Donald has been active in ministry since 1999, when he served at different churches in capacities such as Sunday school teacher, cell group leader, and associate minister.  In 2006, he was ordained as a Pastor and became the Senior Pastor of Bethel Christian Church.   Pastor Donald Hunter is committed to saving the lost, preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ, and praying for the sick.  He has a mandate from heaven to minister the healing anointing of Jesus Christ to the world and prepare the church for the evil days to come prior to the return of Jesus Christ.  His church services are often accompanied by praying for the sick and prolific bible teaching. 

 

Pastor Donald is a proud husband and devoted father of four beautiful children: Donald III, Darian, Diamond, and Dominion.  He met his wife, Dr. Dana R. Hunter, while in high school, married her two weeks after her high school graduation, and has been happily married to the love of his life for 27 years. Donald Hunter has a Master of Ministry from Global Awakening Theological Seminary and a Doctor of Ministry from Liberty University, School of Divinity.
